Student Services Fee at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע
Student Services Fees provide funds that cover the costs of various activities, functions, programs, and services, are separate and apart from the regularly scheduled academic functions of the university, and directly involve or benefit students. At °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע, Student Services Fee cover costs related to the programs and services listed below. Additional regional campus gym memberships and some regional student event expenses may also be covered by this fee. The entire budget may be viewed in the right navigation menu.
Student Counseling
The Program of Assistance for Students (PAS) promotes health and wellness in students’ personal and academic lives. PAS provides up to eight free counseling sessions per student per year (Sept. 1 - Aug. 31). TAO, an interactive, web-based program that provides guided activities to help overcome anxiety, depression and other common concerns, is also available to all °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע students.
Telehealth counseling is available to active °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע students located outside of the Lubbock area.
Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
The Office of Diversity and Inclusion advances institutional efforts in the area of diversity, equity, and inclusion for all campus communities, including our virtual campus.

°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע Student Affairs supports the needs of all students from all programs and schools, with services such as:
Student Disability Services
Student Disability Services provides services for students with disabilities and encourages
accessibility within the learning experience by educating the campus community on
related issues.
Student Government Association (SGA)
The °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע Student Government Association is the institutional recognized governing
body for students at the Health Sciences Center. It consists of representatives from
each of the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע’s six schools, Biomedical Sciences, Health Professions, Medicine,
Nursing, Pharmacy, and Public Health and Population. These representatives assist
in the promotion, coordination and direction of student affairs and activities affecting
the Health Sciences Center student body as an entity as well as encourage communication
among the individual schools that compose the Health Sciences Center.
Student Legal Services
Through a partnership with Texas Tech University, °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע students can access limited
legal services through . Services include legal advice, counsel and limited representation for currently
enrolled students at TTU. Our licensed attorneys can advise and/or represent students
in variety of legal areas including, but not limited to: landlord/tenant disputes,
expunctions, misdemeanors, name changes, essential needs licenses, and small claims
consumer disputes.
Student Life
Student Life supports and provides inclusive programs, services, and environments
that foster engagement and connection to the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע community. These include Student
Organization training, support, and funding; and events such as Red Raider Days, Constitution
Day, Finals Fuels, Social Events, and Ring Ceremonies.
